  • Represent multiplication and division in a variety of ways
  • Explore the relationship between multiplication and division
  • Identify, describe, create, and extend patterns found in objects, pictures, numbers and tables

  • Discuss equal groups in real life experiences
  • Describe how numbers can be divided equally in real life experiences

AAP Math

What are we learning?

  • Begin to develop an understanding of decimal numbers 
  • Read, write, draw, show decimals to thousandths place
  • Round decimals to the nearest whole number
  • Compare and order decimals

  • Ask, what do these math vocabulary words - decimal, tenths, hundredths, thousandths, whole, digit mean?
  • Discuss the difference between the pronunciation and spelling of tens/tenths, hundreds/hundredths & thousands/thousandths
