- Beginning to draft fractured fairy tales
- Readers analyze how elements of a text are used to convey different messages and beliefs

- Ask, what books are you reading?
- Talk about different fairy tales that you have read.
- Have students share their fairy tale ideas and/or writing
- After reading a text with your child, ask students how they interpret the theme or main idea
Math
What are we learning?
- Show multiplication in a variety of ways including pictures, arrays, number lines, and equations
- Explore the relationship between multiplication and division
- Determine if two math expressions are equal or unequal

- Read, write, represent, and identify decimals expressed through the thousandths
- Round decimals to the nearest whole number
