What are we learning?
Learning About Print within Fiction:
- Follow characters; develop ideas about how and why their feelings change.
- Build on another’s idea through a discussion.
- Explore whose perspective is told and whose is absent in text and illustrations.
Home/School Connection
- Have your student read a book from Pioneer Valley on student links. Your reader can choose a book from their bookshelf. Read the book to them first, then have them reread the story to you!
