The Terraset Ambassadors had a wonderful field trip to Washington DC.

To enhance our ideas of leadership, the 5th and 6th grade Ambassadors visited the office of Congressman Gerry Connolly who represents Reston in Virginia's 11th congressional district and talked with his Chief of Staff.  He answered the students’ thoughtful questions respectfully and thoroughly.
We also had a tour of the U.S. Capitol, which a number of students had never visited before!
