We are wrapping up our unit on computation with whole numbers. Students have practiced using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to solve practical problems.
We are learning to use Order of Operations to solve multistep problems
AAP math is moving into the fun world of integers . We will identify absolute values, opposite numbers and learn about positive and negative numbers.

What are we learning?
We are learning about the cultures in Mesoamerica, including Olmec, Mayan, Incan and Aztec civilizations. Students are creating a poster or Google Slides presentation in project groups about 1 specific culture.
AAP- we are finishing our study of Hamurabbi’s Code. We analyzed laws, wrote a persuasive essay and next we will debate the fairness of the laws.
